Travelling to Kraków by motorcycle?
Motorcycle parking in the city centre is free
Planning to visit Kraków by motorcycle and wondering where you can park in the city centre? We have good news: motorcycles are subject to a zero parking fee in Kraków’s municipal Paid Parking Area. In other words, there is no municipal parking charge for motorcycles within the paid parking zone.
Motorcycles and Kraków’s Low Emission Zone
Since 1 January 2026, Kraków has also operated a Low Emission Zone (Strefa Czystego Transportu – SCT) covering a significant part of the city.
Motorcyclists do not need to worry about the emission requirements applying to cars: motorcycles and mopeds are exempt from the Low Emission Zone requirements.
Where can you park your motorcycle?
You can leave your motorcycle in public parking spaces where parking is permitted. However, always check the road signs at your chosen location. Free motorcycle parking does not override parking prohibitions or local traffic restrictions.
Medotel is located at 11a Krupnicza Street, right in the centre of Kraków. If you find a legal public parking space in front of the property or nearby, you can leave your motorcycle there without paying the city’s parking fee.
Please remember that these are public parking spaces, so their availability cannot be guaranteed.
It is also worth distinguishing between the Paid Parking Area, the Low Emission Zone and local traffic restrictions. They are separate regulations, and road signs at a particular location should always be observed.
